Dr. Florica Ęandru,MD, PhD, is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of Dermatology at the ”Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest and a senior dermatologist at the ”Elias” University Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, Romania. Also, Dr. Florica Andru is a plastic surgery specialist medical doctor with a wide experience in dermatological clinical practice who is committed to enhancing patients' lives through advanced medical techniques.
Her passion for delivering transformative results in the field of dermatology makes her eager to actively contribute to research and medical advances, as well as forming young doctors. Thus, she is an attending doctor for dermatology doctors. She is a member of several national and regional societies, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV). She has presented several papers at national and regional conferences.
She has authored several books on dermatology. She has also authored more than 50 publications in ISI journals of repute and has several ongoing research projects at the institute. The passion for research and mentoring other young researchers has led to the attainment of the habilitation certificate for supervising doctoral candidates.
